A Critical Madness (1986), which was a then-newly released. He said that it was what made him fall in love with horror films, that it remains one his all-time favorite horror movies, and that he has introduced it to several of his friends over the years.

In passing, they also mentioned this 1986 film with the same name (though technically the 1986 film is apparently “Truth or Dare: A Critical Madness”?). Long story short, this is one of a number of cheap 80s horror films for which all of the original extant film materials have long since disappeared apparently.

Audience Reviews for Truth or Dare?: A Critical Madness. Huge gaps in continuity, a car inexplicably loaded with weapons, cheesy sound effects and a minimal, nonsensical plot make this a so-craptacular-its-good favorite...as long as there is alot of alcohol consumed before watching it. Tim Ritter’s Truth or Dare?: A Critical Madness is beautifully bizarre psycho thriller/horror movie that works through an unbalanced script to deliver an enjoyable movie experience. Mike Strauber is an unstable business man who walks in on his wife sleeping with a mutual friend and losses it, ending up being found out in the woods completely mad and bleeding profusely from self inflicted wounds.

TRUTH OR DARE? is a very weird little indie horror film, made back in 1986 and shot locally in Florida. It's about a cuckolded husband who goes out of his mind after discovering his wife in bed with another man, leading him on an odyssey of self-mutilation (the film's most bizarre highlight), madness, and eventual murder.

Truth or Dare?: A Critical Madness is a 1986 horror film written and directed by Tim Ritter, and based on his short "Truth or Dare?" from 1985 anthology film Twisted Illusions.

Truth or dare? is a mostly verbal party game requiring two or more players. Players are given the choice between answering a question truthfully, or performing a "dare", both of which are set by the other players. The game is particularly popular among adolescents and children, and is sometimes used as a forfeit when gambling.
